Our Finest

2008 Vegetables offered by Olden Produce
As follows is a list of produce we will be growing. All our produce is grown in a sustainable all natural/chemical free manner. We are not currently certified organic or certified naturally grown. The farm we are located on is currently being transitioned out of traditional row crop production and will need to be farmed in our natural method for a few years before we will be able to become certified. Some of the land we are using has been chemical free for a number of years, other areas are more recent. The smaller box on the left lists fruit that come from other farms. In some cases we have partnered with these farms to be able to offer as much as we do and in other cases we have formed partnerships to offer products that we can not offer from our farm location. An example of these items would be blueberries. In all cases we will let you know how these items are produced. We have sought out farms that share our philosophy of all natural/chemical free whenever possible. When this has not been possible we have found farms the are far more responsible in limiting their use of chemicals. In these cases the chemical use is often 75% to 90% lower than standard production practices. We will continue to add some of these items to our farm in future years and in other cases continue to seek out the best options that minimize the use of chemicals, limit the distance your produce travels to get here and in general are the most environmental responsible choices available.
